Description

CURRENTLY CLOSED

The apartment consists of reception rooms - living rooms, a dining room, study, library, lounge, ladies' room and fumoir - and private rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen and servants' rooms. Everything in the house is fully coherent and authentic from the inlaid wood floors, ceilings, plaster molded cornices to the French lace curtains and the lines of the furniture . The arrangement of this, together with the abundance of armchairs and sofas, reveals the custom of receiving people at home. In fact they organized musical events, cultural evenings at which poetry was read, the putting on of original comedies and art exhibitions while the walls are graced by family portraits and sixty paintings and drawings from the late 19th century Italian, French and Austrian Schools. In the dining room two valuable services are set up to complete the table in Pillivuyt French porcelain bearing the Morpurgo monogram.

Peculiarities
